Objective / Description
Largymore Primary School in an integral part of A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace. The school has 240 pupils pupils aged from 4 to 11. It is an objective of the school, principal and staff that all children are not only afforded the opportunity of discovering their position in our world but appreciate how all nations, cultures and creeds make a valuable contribution. The school finds that not only by developing relationships and helping when we can, but also opening lines of communication, are all effective methods of affording children learning opportunities. At present the children are in communication with schools and groupings in India, Romania, Japan, Ukraine, Belarus and United States. The school will always welcome new friendships.
