Contributions to the Mid-Term Report on the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World (2001-2010)

By resolution A/RES/55/47 of 22 January 2001, the United Nations General Assembly designated UNESCO as lead agency for the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World (2001-2010).

For the year 2005, UNESCO has been entrusted with the drafting of a mid-term report, evaluating the contributions and activities of all participants and outlining possible approaches for the next five years of the International Decade. This report will be presented to the United Nations General Assembly at its 60th session in 2005. A PDF of this report is available here.
