In France, over 60 partnership agreements for the International Year were signed with
cities, national and local NGOs and institutions. One example of the many actions was the
World Festival for Children that brought together 2000 children from all regions of the
world.
Portugal
In Portugal, publicity professionnals and announcers promoted the Manifesto 2000 through
radio, television, press conferences and the Internet.
