Haïti - Bolivia

In Haiti, the press, radio and television played an important role in the promotion of the International Year.

In Bolivia, students at Nur University in Santa Cruz   developed contacts with local authorities , diplomats,    local radios and TV broadcasters.

Among the many partners of the International Year was the "Federation of Centres for Volunteer Action in Quebec" which promoted a culture of peace in over 100 active volunteer action groups...
