Exhibition
"From the International Year for the Culture of Peace to the International Decade"

The objective of this exhibition was to promote the contributions of the local, national and international organizations around the world to the International Year for the Culture of Peace (IYCP). The various activities and initiatives included exhibitions, seminars, cruises, youth camps, training sessions, concerts, campaigns, shows...

The exhibition was introduced by ten thematic panels and then organized by continents - thanks to the information provided by the different National Focal points of the IYCP - and by international organizations. 

AFRICA

44 African countries took part in the International Year and 36 countries provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed.

ASIA

28 Asian countries contributed to the International Year and provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed. 

AMERICA

28 countries of North, Central and South America contributed to the International Year and 24 countries provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed.

EUROPE

37 European countries contributed to the international year among which 26 provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed. 

OCEANIA

6 countries from Oceania contributed to the International Year among which 5 provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

181 international organizations and UNESCO networks contributed to the International Year among which 49 provided information and materials for the exhibition on the activities they developed.
