GEM being a co-sponsor of Human Rights Day for youth at the United Nations and the year's theme being centered on the International Year for a Culture of Peace, GEM involved its network of schools and others from the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, etc...; support for IYCP included some interactive video conferences, the GEM website and the Human Rights Day website.
