The promotional campaign during the International Year in Brazil was exemplary: the Manifesto 2000 reached over 15 million citizens based on a two-fold strategy consisting of the establishment of partnerships and the development of the contents and concepts of a culture of peace.


Guatemala


In Guatemala, the International Year was celebrated within the context of a major national project for the culture of peace involving  schools, youth associations, cities, and the training of culture of peace promoters.
