The Sahel office of UNESCO (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger) launched several culture of peace activities and created a specific packet of information bringing together different elements of the International Year and the Manifesto 2000.

Algérie

In Algeria, more than 780 000 signatures were collected on the Manifesto 2000 by mobilizing the entire society.

Swaziland

Posters featuring the 6 points of the Manifesto 2000 were distributed in all the schools of the country involving students in the culture of peace.
